Minority Leader, Ashworth Jack stated that the Tobago House of Assembly has been urging Tobagonians not to participate in any discussions, in regards to the constitutional reform.

With the increased sponsorship to the Annual Sports Day in Mt Pleasant on Easter Monday by the Division of Finance and Enterprise Development, there is a fear that there may be some form of control by the Assembly.
