The Cocrico is one our national birds and the one indigenous to this island. However, it is not a well-loved creature as it is often referred to as the Tobago pest. Through the Tobago Writer’s Guild Monthly lectures, acclaimed author, Dr. Rita Pemberton, explored the relationship and parallels between the Cocrico and the people who share its space.
