The Super League competition will kick off on Sunday June 10th for the 1976FC Phoenix football team and the boys are both eager and confident going into the game. Coach of the team, Terry Williams sat down with us and told us how he is looking forward to the season.

A rock throwing incident at the Parliament building earlier on Wednesday morning, has left one man in police custody. Tobago Channel 5 was reliably informed that at approximately 4:30 a.m. an individual threw several rocks at the Parliament building at Tower D, causing damage to the glass doors at the Wrightson Road entrance to the Parliament Chamber, as well as the adjoining glass panels

Murder-Suicide in Buccoo

Residents of Buccoo are still trying to come to terms with the murder-suicide which occurred in their village on Tuesday. 36 year old Burlinda Solomon- Sobers was chopped to death at her Orchid Lane, Coral Gardens Buccoo home at around 7:45am. The assailant fled the scene but was later found dead in a nearby cornfield at Buccoo Junction in the vicinity of the traffic lights. Autopsies are yet to be conducted on the bodies.
