One man is dead after he succumbed to injuries sustained in a motor vehicular accident in Hope on Saturday morning. Channel Five News spoke to Inspector Stephenson Mark of the Scarborough Police at the scene of the accident at Belmont Road – Hope.

Prime Minister Kamla Persad Bissessar cut the ribbon to declare the Magdalena Grand Beach Resort officially open. According to the Prime Minister this four star resort is currently rated number one in Tobago and number two in Trinidad and Tobago. The official opening ceremony took place on the Prime Minister’s recent visit to Tobago in the Colibri ballroom of the beach resort.
