Bago Sports is synonymous with hosting beach football tournaments, but, the team is not just a sporting organization, they now have their own football team, which journeyed to Guyana recently, for a football match against that country.

Murder-Suicide in Buccoo

Residents of Buccoo are still trying to come to terms with the murder-suicide which occurred in their village on Tuesday. 36 year old Burlinda Solomon- Sobers was chopped to death at her Orchid Lane, Coral Gardens Buccoo home at around 7:45am. The assailant fled the scene but was later found dead in a nearby cornfield at Buccoo Junction in the vicinity of the traffic lights. Autopsies are yet to be conducted on the bodies.

Signal Hill We can cook, a tremendous success

Many braved the rain and came out to the Signal Hill Secondary School’s much anticipated event “We can cook”. The event is a fund raising initiative which was started by the teachers and students of the Signal Hill Secondary School, providing the patrons with entertainment while they eat and mingle.
