Tobago receives 4.03% of National pie

Murder-Suicide in Buccoo
Residents of Buccoo are still trying to come to terms with the murder-suicide which occurred in their village on Tuesday. 36 year old Burlinda Solomon- Sobers was chopped to death at her Orchid Lane, Coral Gardens Buccoo home at around 7:45am. The assailant fled the scene but was later found dead in a nearby cornfield at Buccoo Junction in the vicinity of the traffic lights. Autopsies are yet to be conducted on the bodies.

Nationwide Blackout
A major disruption in the electricity supply on the island during the early hours of this morning caused major discomfort for all of Trinidad and Tobago. As a result, the Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission was bombarded with calls as to the cause of the problem.

UTT on Display
Officials from The University of Trinidad and Tobago attracted numbers to the Scarborough Esplanade, as they displayed numerous booths educating the public about a varied number of disabilities.
