Over a two day period the TOP will hold its Annual General meeting that will include elections for key internal posts. The first day Sunday May 26th will commence from 3p.m. at the Mason Hall Secondary school.

Anselm Richards is claiming that the House of Assembly spent over two million dollars on Emergency Social Assistance Card Program for the Month of January 2013; Mr Richards said The Sum of 2, 224, 941.20 was spent by the THA during the period January 9th to 23rd on Emergency Social Assistance Card Program which was distributed to 4000 Tobagonians.

The Caribbean Examination Council stated that in the May/June exams for this year only 33 percent of students in the region attained Grades 1 to 3 in Mathematics. This decline has been steady for the past three years and has prompted the Subject Advisory Committee be prompted to address deficiencies in the subject across the region.
