The 25th edition of the RBC Tobago Tennis Tournament officially began on Monday at the Shaw Park Hard Courts. Over 100 players were reported to be taking part in the competition which takes place from August 13th to the17th.

Prime Minister Kamla Persad Bissessar cut the ribbon to declare the Magdalena Grand Beach Resort officially open. According to the Prime Minister this four star resort is currently rated number one in Tobago and number two in Trinidad and Tobago.
