The Tobago Hotel and Tourism Association desperately wants to meet with Caribbean Airlines to formulate a marketing plan to improve the dismal visitor figures forecast during the Easter vacation. In response, CAL explained they have been too busy to meet, further; they will not be providing additional flights. This news has been described as vulgar and obscene by Minority Assemblyman, Farley Augustine.

Few tenants adamant that they are not moving

It was business as usual for some tenants of the NIB Mall, while others were busy packing their goods in an attempt to meet the deadline set by the NIB Mall Management. When Channel Five News visited the Mall, we saw some spaces empty, as business owners heeded the call by the NIB Management to vacate the premises by April 30th.

For many years, the people of Tobago have been awaiting the construction of a new bus terminal in Scarborough. In order to find out when this building will be constructed, Tobago Channel Five News went straight to the key persons PTSC Manager Henry Cook, Secretary for Infrastructure and Public Utilities Hilton Sandy and even the Minister of Transport Devant Maharaj.
