The Tobago district of the Trinidad and Tobago Unified Teacher’s Association held their annual Teacher’s Get Together ceremony and awards function recently at the Rovanel’s Resort. The event which also formed a part of the activities which were held throughout the week as part of TTUTA’s 72nd anniversary was also an opportunity to bid farewell to retiring teachers.

Reigning Carifta champions Mark London, Chelsea James, Kenejah Williams, Andwuelle Wright have been named in a team of 44 athletes, which consists of 9 Tobagonians selected by the National Association of Athletics Administrations (NAAA) to represent T&T at the 42nd annual Carifta Games in Nassau, Bahamas, from March 29 to April 1.

All roads led to the Dwight Yorke Stadium on Friday to witness the fund raising double header in aid of the Dwight Yorke Foundation that was organized by Yorke himself. The event in its 2nd year saw our coaching school kids go up against our Bon Accord Government School and later Dwight Yorke and friends up against a Tobago eleven.
