Political Leader of the Tobago Organization of the People (TOP) Ashworth Jack says he has been informed that the Platform of Truth and the Movement for Democracy and Development will be joining forces with the PNM in an attempt to defeat the Tobago Organization of the People.

TTUTA celebrates 72 years

The Tobago district of the Trinidad and Tobago Unified Teacher’s Association held their annual Teacher’s Get Together ceremony and awards function recently at the Rovanel’s Resort. The event which also formed a part of the activities which were held throughout the week as part of TTUTA’s 72nd anniversary was also an opportunity to bid farewell to retiring teachers.

Social Scientist, Anselm Richards also commented on the MSJ’s withdrawal from the People’s Partnership Government. He said he doesn’t think this turn of events will affect the TOP negatively in the upcoming THA elections.
