The Tobago Organization of the People Political Leader, Ashworth Jack made it clear during the People’s Partnership’s 2nd anniversary celebrations on Saturday in Tobago, that the reason for his party joining the partnership was solely in an attempt to help Tobago and the people on the Island.

Two men appeared before Senior Magistrate Nannette Forde on June 20th, on charges arising out of the June 11th drug bust. The men, Dion Stewart and Hayden George of Patience Hill and Cinnamon Hill respectively were charged for allegedly having in their possession two hundred kilograms of compressed marijuana for the purpose of trafficking.

Scores of displaced and disgruntled passengers assembled outside the Scarborough Port this afternoon, after they were informed that the T&T Spirit sailings will be delayed. Scores of passengers lined up at the Scarborough Port for the 1:30 sailing of the T&T Spirit this afternoon only to be informed that their sailing would be delayed by two hours.
