The Tobago Homicide division on Monday morning announced that an investigation has already been launched into the death of the fisherman who was said to be in his seventies, Gordon Eastman.

Earlier this week it was reported by a national news media that it was Tobago’s Big Secret — violent crime creeping-in due to drugs and guns but according to Faith Jordan of Castara Road, Mt. St. George it was not drug related.

Castara residents fear bridge may come tumbling

The village of Castara seems to be plagued with many problems. Residents now fear that the bridge at the entrance to their village may soon collapse. This bridge is located on the outskirts of the village next to the Castara Government School.
