It has become part of Tobago’s rich tradition that Easter Monday is ‘Mt. Pleasant day’ in local palance. Well, the Carnbee/ Mt. Pleasant Community council has launched the annual event. This year would be the 41st staging of the sports and family day.

Easter Monday labeled Derby day in Tobago as many flocked to the Mt. Pleasant Recreation Grounds to take in the annual Goat Race and Sports Day. This year marked 40 years since the beginning of the event and was set to be a very special day for those attending.
