After a deal gone sour, one Bon Accord resident claims he was brutally attacked by a person who took the oath to protect and serve. A deal made with a friend who took a loan of eighty dollars and gave a bike as collateral prompted what Lynwal Trim of Bon Accord says is a case of police brutality.
Trinidad and Tobago Police Service held its first town hall meeting in the village of Hope; this initiative is geared towards “Bridging the Gap between the Community and the Police”.

As it gets closer to Christmas, the Trinidad and Tobago Police Service, particularly Tobago is increasing patrols in Christmas hot spots. A mobile unit was set up in Scarborough and now one is located at the entrance of the Shirvan Plaza.
