Port Authority workers are frustrated as they accused management of unfair treatment. They staged a protest in Scarborough hoping that their concerns are heard.

The Trinidad and Tobago Police Service must be transparent; the police officers must be professional and they must also be monitored, to ensure that they are dealing with persons who go to lodge complaints, fairly and professionally, this according to Jessel Duke who held a one man protest.

Opposition Leader Dr Keith Rowley is advising citizens to either shutdown their work places or work for half the day on November 2 and take to the streets of Port-of-Spain at noon to demand good governance.

Early morning protest action was held at the Laboratory of the Scarborough Regional Hospital on Wednesday. Workers were outside the lab awaiting President of the PSA, Watson Duke.

The employees of the National Insurance Board staged another protest outside their office at the NIB Mall Scarborough. They say they are fed up of the slow pace with which the negotiations for an increase to their salaries are moving.
