Workers at the Scarborough Regional Hospital came out once again to express their dissatisfaction with their working conditions. PSA President Watson Duke was in Tobago again to offer support to the workers. With his support, the workers are now giving the TRHA board an ultimatum.

Early morning protest action was held at the Laboratory of the Scarborough Regional Hospital on Wednesday. Workers were outside the lab awaiting President of the PSA, Watson Duke.

All surgeries at the Scarborough Regional Hospital were canceled on Monday; this is as a result of sick out action staged by nurses at the hospital. And President of the Public Services Association Watson Duke says it is time the TRHA employees are shown the respect they deserve. According to a source at the Scarborough Regional Hospital, several nurses left their stations unattended at the hospital

The employees of the National Insurance Board staged another protest outside their office at the NIB Mall Scarborough. They say they are fed up of the slow pace with which the negotiations for an increase to their salaries are moving.
