Recently, residents of Bamboo Hill Les Coteaux accused a resident in the area of hampering infrastructural development in the area, by halting the construction of a retaining wall, which was being built at the road’s edge.

Residents of Bamboo Hill, Les Coteaux say they are extremely displeased that one person in the village appears to be halting the much needed progress and development in the area.

The road leading from Roxborough to Bloody Bay collapsed as work was being under-taken to construct a retaining wall about half mile from the Bloody Bay junction. Recently work was being done to facilitate the building of a retaining wall along the roadway.

Valerie Orr, a resident of Castara Road, Mt. St. George, is asking for assistance in the construction of a retaining wall at the back of her house. She claims that she needs one in order to protect her home from landslides which occur when heavy rain falls.
