The handing over of the second phase of the Scarborough General Hospital will be delayed by at least one month. NIPDEC has reported the delay in a recent correspondence to the Division of Health and Social Services.
Opposition Leader Dr. Keith Rowley attended the commissioning of the Scarborough General Hospital recently. He gave his views on the event, describing the length of time it has taken for the Hospital to be completed as a bad pregnancy and a very difficult birth.
The ceremony to commission the start of services at the Scarborough General Hospital was held on Wednesday at the Hospital’s Signal Hill location. In her remarks Secretary for Health and Social services, Claudia Groome-Duke said this is a special day in the lives of Tobagonians.
