The Tobago development Minister called for a meeting between himself and the Trade Unions, however only one union was represented

The Trinidad and Tobago Unified Teachers Association last Thursday advised parents to make alternative arrangements for the care of their children on Friday as TTUTA intends to stage another day of rest and reflection.

Tobago teachers this morning gathered at the Signal Hill Secondary School, as they held their annual district conference, which formed part of the October Teacher’s month celebration.

The Tobago district of the Trinidad and Tobago Unified Teacher’s Association held their annual Teacher’s Get Together ceremony and awards function recently at the Rovanel’s Resort. The event which also formed a part of the activities which were held throughout the week as part of TTUTA’s 72nd anniversary was also an opportunity to bid farewell to retiring teachers.
