The demolition of the NIB Mall in Scarborough appears to be moving ahead at full throttle; barricades have now been erected debarring members of the public from entering the premises.

Castara residents fear bridge may come tumbling
The village of Castara seems to be plagued with many problems. Residents now fear that the bridge at the entrance to their village may soon collapse. This bridge is located on the outskirts of the village next to the Castara Government School.
Magdalena Grand Beach Resort officially Opens
Prime Minister Kamla Persad Bissessar cut the ribbon to declare the Magdalena Grand Beach Resort officially open. According to the Prime Minister this four star resort is currently rated number one in Tobago and number two in Trinidad and Tobago. The official opening ceremony took place on the Prime Minister’s recent visit to Tobago in the Colibri ballroom of the beach resort.
