Forced Landing at Piarco
Two planes were forced to return to Piarco airport and make emergency landings when a collision with birds occurred and damaged two engines. A unlawful dump and crops produced a “bird hazard” for airplanes leaving the Piarco International Airport on two consecutive days over the Easter weekend
